Dolly Buster , civic Nora Baumberger (* 23. October 1969 in Prague , Czechoslovakia as Nora Dvořáková ) is a former Czech - German porn actress . Since ending her career as a porn actress, she has worked as a writer , painter , producer , director and actress . In addition, she was briefly politically active.

Life

1980s

At 18, Dolly Buster worked as a translator for the Federal Border Police . Half a year later she began to work in porn films. She initially appeared under different names such as Mandy Dvorak , Mandy Dvorjack , Mandy Rice , Nora List and Norma List . While filming porn, she met the porn director and porn producer Josef Baumberger , known as Dino. Both have been married to each other since 1997.

Dolly Buster initially made a name for itself as a sex bomb in porn films with her enormous silicone breasts . She became known across Germany after she posed for the cover of Stern magazine for an article about the porn industry.

1990s

She appeared in over 50 porn films in the 1980s and 1990s. Short trips as a presenter or commentator in various television programs gave her popularity a boost. In particular, she appeared in almost every episode of the show Peep! (1996–1999) and occasionally asked quiz questions. Her strongly pronounced Czech accent with the replacement of the “I” sound by “Sch” is often incorrectly parodied as lisp . Buster was also frequently seen in the sex programs Liebe Sünde (1993–2000) and Wa (h) re Liebe (1994–2004).

After they got married in 1997, she ended her career in front of the camera and has been behind the camera as a producer and director ever since. She also runs her own erotic shop chain called "Dolly Buster".

In 1995 she released the single Make love (make no war) . This reached number 80 in the German charts. She had a vocal appearance as a guest in the Saturday evening show Ma kuck'n by Stefan Raab . In 1998 she released a cover version of Connie Francis' single Beautiful Stranger Man .

Dolly Buster has been committed to animal welfare for some time , especially against the illegal trade in puppies. In this context she is a prominent godmother for the animal welfare project in Hungary .

Her career as an actress is based on roles in television series such as Marys crazy hospital or Die Anrheiner . In the comedy Voll normaaal , shot by Tom Gerhardt in 1994 , she had a brief guest appearance as “Gianna S.”

In 1995 she played the television assistant of Burkhard Driest in the ARD television production Private Life Show of the Saarländischer Rundfunk . This fictional television show caused a minor scandal. The supposedly live show ended with the death of the presenter, who was shot and killed by an angry show candidate. Many viewers then believed that this really happened.

2000s

In 2000, Buster received a Venus Award ( Lifetime Achievement Award ) at the Venus erotic fair in Berlin . In 2003, two more Venus Awards followed in the categories Special Jury Award and Innovation of the Year for Vodafone- live. Dolly Buster has been a book author since the 2000s. Her thriller Hard Cut was released in March 2001 , followed by Tiefenschöhe in April 2003. Both titles were only moderately successful. In 2015 the satirical book Ohne Maulkorb was published , a novel from the point of view of her Beagle Lio, which she wrote together with the Austrian co-author Rainer Pototschnig.

In 2004 Dolly Buster took part in the second season of the RTL show Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here! part. However, she left the jungle camp prematurely after two days.

From 2006 she took painting lessons with the Düsseldorf artist Johanna Rzepka . She repeatedly visited the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf as a day guest and there in particular the class for life drawing of the lecturer Arnim Tölke . She published her first pictures on November 15th on TV total . On November 27th, the vernissage of her exhibition “Color Crash” followed with 31 works in the Café Keese in Hamburg . The laudators were Arnim Tölke and the painter Paul Cleeve . The travesty artist Oliver Knöbel, better known as Olivia Jones , led the program for the approx. 200 guests .

In early 2007, Dolly Buster underwent breast reduction surgery, according to media reports . Since 2009 she has also been working as a DJ .

At the beginning of 2012, Dolly Buster opened “Buster Pasta”, a restaurant with Italian cuisine in Frankfurt. Another branch was opened in Düsseldorf in 2014.

Dolly Buster started in the seventh season of the Austrian TV show Dancing Stars on March 9, 2012. She was eliminated in sixth place.

In January 2013 she was a candidate in the VOX series Celebrity Shopping Queen .

Candidatures and support in elections

Dolly Buster supported Guido Westerwelle ( FDP ) in the federal election campaign in 2002. She mainly advocated free love .

Candidate for the European Parliament

For the 2004 European elections , the Czech ran for the European Parliament as Nora Baumbergerová for the Czech NEI ( Nezávislá erotická iniciativa , "Independent Erotic Initiative") party in her home country . It clearly failed.

Positioning as an unwilling candidate

On July 23, 2009 it was announced that Dolly Buster, without her knowledge and against her will, was on the list as a candidate for the Independent Wesel Voting Association (UWW) in the local elections in North Rhine-Westphalia on August 30, 2009 for the municipal council election in the Wesel constituency of Obrighoven-Lackhausen 21 out of 25 had been nominated. In a television interview, she stated that she signed the statement as one of many documents on her desk without reading the text. Her husband told the WDR that they had both signed a form and thought they would become a member of the UWW. UWW spokesman Oelmüller said that the UWW had only seven members and therefore asked acquaintances to support them in filling the 25 electoral districts with candidates. In early summer, the candidates had already been voted onto the list by the UWW members. Such a written declaration of consent is irrevocable. A withdrawal can only take place under certain conditions and only before the nominations have been approved. For this reason, it was not possible to withdraw from the candidacy. Dolly Buster therefore called on voters not to vote them. However, if she had been elected, she could have refused a mandate. Her husband Josef Baumberger ran for the UWW in 23rd place on the list. Since the UWW could only win one seat with 1.73% of the votes and did not win any district directly, neither were elected.
