action

Liane goes to Lisbon to meet her husband Ben, with whom she wants to spend a romantic week on the occasion of their 20th wedding anniversary. In her marriage, Liane was and is responsible for the house and children, which took up most of her time. The children have now left their parents' nest and are studying outside. Ben spent most of his time on the road, designing and building luxury hotels around the world. The lifestyle that the family can maintain is extremely comfortable, but the togetherness has fallen by the wayside. The week in Portugal should serve to bring the couple closer together again and to discover and establish more similarities again.

But Liane already expects the first surprise at the airport. It is not Ben who receives her, but his widowed friend João, from whom she is picked up on a scooter . Ben is still busy with a project in Morocco that requires his presence. So it happens that João plays the tourist guide for Liane and through him she discovers the beauties of Lisbon , Cascais and Sintra . The more hours they spend together, the more obvious it becomes that a special bond has developed between them.

When Ben finally arrives in Portugal a few days later, he is more than surprised by the transformation of his wife. For both of them, the question arises whether their marriage can still be saved.
