Ulrich Reuter (film composer)

Ulrich Reuter (* 1966 in Bamberg ) is a German film music composer and producer.

Life

Reuter studied at the University of Music in Würzburg , later at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy (degree in film music, diploma in 1994). Since then he has worked as a freelance composer for television and cinema films.

He held workshops and lectures, for example, at the University of Music Würzburg, the European Training Institute for Film and Television (EFIFF), the International Radio Exhibition 2008, and the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy. Between 2003 and 2005 he held a teaching position for film music at the Munich University of Music.

Since November 2005 Ulrich Reuter has been teaching as a professor for film music composition at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam .
