The list of films related to Lisbon contains, in alphabetical order, films where the city of Lisbon is the subject of attention or an essential part of the film plot. Films in which Lisbon was only a location or had no significant role in the film are not listed. The numerous Lisbon comedies from the 1930s to 1950s are also not listed (see examples under Portuguese film ).

  • Lisboa domiciliária (“Domestic Lisbon”, 2010) D: Marta Pessoa -The situation of the aging population in the old quarters of Lisbon is shown by accompanying the nursing staff at work in the various apartments and letting everyone involved speak.

  • Ruas da Amargura (“Streets of Bitterness”, 2009) D: Rui Simões -The individual stories and problems of both the homeless in Lisbon and those who care for them for the most varied of reasons.
  • Taxi Lisboa (1996) D:Wolf Gaudlitz, withGérard Semaan, Josefina Lind, Antonio Torchiaro, etc. -The film introduces the almost 100-year-old taxi driver Augusto Macedo and accompanies him and his taxi through the city from 1926; Actors appear in between and tell, on behalf of, stories from the people of the city.
  • Toxic.TV Hip Hop Reporters (2006) D: Specta -In this French hip-hop series of reports, the former Saïan Supa crew rapper visits Portugal, with a trip to Porto and primarily the growing scene in the greater Lisbon area being presented (Graffiti, rap, breakdance).
