Christoph Schechinger

Christoph Schechinger (born December 26, 1985 in Cologne ) is a German actor .

Life

Schechinger gained his first stage experience in 2004 in the youth club at the Schauspiel in Cologne . He received acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, where he was taught by Klaus Maria Brandauer and Grazyna Dylag, among others . He then studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London from 2009 to 2011 and obtained a Master of Arts Acting for screen . From 2011 to 2013 Schechinger was a member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus in Düsseldorf . He was seen in a production by Nurkan Erpulat in David Gieselmann's Herr Kolpert .

Christoph Schechinger also worked in various film and television productions .

In addition to a few short films, they also included an episode of the Tatort television series . In Under Pressure he played the role of Martin Hanke in the “ Cologne Tatort ” alongside Klaus J. Behrendt , Dietmar Bär and Claudia Michelsen . In 2012 he also embodied the character of Christian in the WDR production Das Millions Race alongside Axel Prahl , Peter Lohmeyer and Luise Risch . Since 2018 he has played chief detective Maximilian Murnau in the crime series Die Bossin .
