Dietmar Bär (born February 5, 1961 in Dortmund ) is a German actor .

Life, Education and Commitments

In 1981 Dietmar Bär graduated from the Leibniz Gymnasium in Dortmund . During his school days he became a member of the SDAJ . He was noticed at an early age by his acting talent in various school theater projects. For a short time he became the singer of the Dortmund punk band Planlos through the 80s . He completed his training as an actor from 1982 to 1985 at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum . One of the first roles that made him known was that of a hooligan for MSV Duisburg in the crime scene in 1984 : two kinds of blood . In 1985 he played a small supporting role in Men by Doris Dörrie . Also in 1985 an engagement at the Landestheater Tübingen followed . From 1988 to 1990 and from 1992 to 1994 he performed at the Wuppertal stages . At the Gandersheim Cathedral Festival he played the village judge Adam in Kleist's Der Zerbrochne Krug in the summer of 2007 and 2008 . Since 2010 Dietmar Bär has played Vinzenz Hufnagel (old) and Lothar in the play Eisenstein at the Bochum theater . As a speaker, Dietmar Bär has read various authors, including Mo Hayder , Håkan Nesser , Jacques Berndorf , Thomas Krüger and Stieg Larsson , as audio books.

Dietmar Bär has been married to Maren Geißler since April 15, 2009. Dietmar Bär is an avowed fan of the Borussia Dortmund football club , which was also transferred to the role of Freddy Schenk in the action of the Cologne crime scene .

In addition, Bär is committed to the German bone marrow donor database , for example by means of poster advertising. With other Tatort actors, he also stands up for the victims of crime and supports the White Ring as part of a campaign.

He is also a member of the Federal Drama Association .
