Children's laughter
Children's laughter e. V. is a registered association in Dortmund, which mainly cares for sick and poor children in Germany .
The association was founded on July 1, 2002. The initiators are the association's founders and current board members Christian Vosseler (chairman) and Marc Peine (managing director). The patronage was the comedian Matze Knop in 2004 . The “ambassadors” include television presenters, musicians, athletes and actors.
The association finances relief campaigns in children's clinics, children's hospices and kindergartens through income from football and ice hockey celebrity games.
Every year since 2005, on the occasion of a children's laughter gala , the association honors people who have made a special contribution to their well-being with the “Kind Award”.
