Mal Peet
Mal Peet (born June 1947 in Norfolk ; † March 2, 2015 ) was a British children's and youth author.
Mal Peet studied English and American Literature at the University of Warwick . He married Elspeth Graham and began writing and illustrating children's books with her. In 2003 his first book called " Keeper " was published, which won the Branford Boase Award . Peet last lived in Devon with his wife and three children .
