Löwenzahn - Die Reise ins Abenteuer ( working title : Löwenzahn - Der Film ) is a German television film by director Hannes Spring from 2005. In the lead role , Peter Lustig embodies himself, as the resident of a construction trailer who gets involved in his beloved home leave and make his property available to a construction company.
action
Peter Lustig has been living in his construction trailer for many years on the Im Elchwinkel property , on which a huge shopping center is now to be built, the so-called Elchwinkel Center with an attached Bunkenburg Tower . In order to realize the project, the Bunkenburg AG commissioned with the construction intends to buy all the land. Peter initially opposes these plans; But when the shrewd businessman Hagen Bunkenburg offers the Uckermärkische Schloss Pölser in exchange for his overgrown property, Peter pricks up the ears. Neighbor Paschulke should also exchange his property, namely for a finca on Mallorca .
Peter first visits the Bärstadt Castle and after a short time is enthusiastic about the idea of owning such a castle himself. An employee of Bunkenburg, who pretends to be an alleged Hereditary Prince of Moosburg-Schippe as a castle expert to Peter and is enthusiastic about Pölser Castle, ultimately convinces Peter to exchange.
Peter hangs his trailer on a tractor and leaves the area in the direction of the castle that was promised to him. He stupidly loses his map on the way, but can continue the journey with a GPS device he bought without further ado. When he finally gets there after a long journey, the castle turns out to be completely shabby and dilapidated. At first, the ambitious Peter does not want to give up the castle and is thinking about the upcoming renovation work, but after the first night full of nightmares the next surprise awaits him: Peter gets a visit from the local monument preservation office . Apparently they were looking forward to a new owner there, because the monument authority is now expecting an extensive renovation of the castle for several million euros by the new lord of the castle.
Peter realizes that he made the wrong decision. He looks for the sales contract and fortunately remembers the withdrawal clause, the deadline of which expires at 12 noon. He decides to cancel the contract and goes home with his construction trailer. However, it seems as if the shrewd building contractor Bunkenburg had already expected it, and so he puts his two henchmen Jana Olschewski and Achim Kriechbaum on him to prevent Peter from being able to cancel the contract before the deadline. The two try all sorts of tricks, for example they let the engine of his tractor explode when Peter eats a sausage at a food stand. Peter, gifted with wit and ideas, quickly borrows two horses and uses them as a replacement for the tractor that was set on fire. He is also not deterred by further disruptive maneuvers and so he manages to return in time and to cancel the purchase contract. Together with his neighbor Paschulke, who was also by no means satisfied with his ailing finca on Mallorca and also went back, Peter explains at the handover ceremony that he would like to stay in Elchwinkel. Since the deadline for resignation will only expire in two minutes, the building contractor leaves the site in anger and gives up.
The plot ends with Peter living peacefully in his construction trailer again when a representative of a hitherto unknown real estate agency appears in the garden in front of the construction trailer to make Peter a "lucrative" offer for his property in Elchwinkel. He is immediately chased off the property by Peter and Paschulke.
Others
The film was produced on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the television series Löwenzahn and represents the official end of Peter Lustig's television appearances. For this occasion, the public broadcaster ZDF cast certain characters who appear in supporting roles with functionaries of the broadcaster or well-known actors or news moderators. For example, Markus Schächter , director of the ZDF from 2002 to 2012 , made a small appearance as a guest at a snack bar. The TV presenter Cherno Jobatey appears in a mini role as a groom, the castle guide is played by the news presenter Gundula Gause .
Marquardt Castle , located in the northwest of Potsdam , served as the filming location for Pölser Castle .
Although it is a separate television film, the film begins like a normal episode of the series Löwenzahn, as it usually began when Peter Lustig was still the main character in the series. The film is produced in such a way that it can also be broadcast as a three-part mini - series if necessary .
Even in the television film, which differs from a normal dandelion episode, the imparting of knowledge is not neglected. For example, the sales contract signed prematurely by Peter suggests that it is better to read contracts carefully before giving your consent. Furthermore, it is explained, rather marginally and almost unnoticed, that horses have sensitive whisker hair and why regular care of the animals is important. In the broadest sense, even leading a horse is explained by, for example, casually mentioning the function of a halter . The main character Peter Lustig also takes the appropriate time to explain the history of castles and palaces and how the GPS works.
First broadcast
Löwenzahn - The Film: The Journey into Adventure was broadcast for the first time on October 6, 2005 on ZDF.
