Maria Jany

Maria Jany (* 1975 in Göttingen ) is a German actress .

Life

Jany grew up in Göttingen. She was trained as an actress at the European Theater Institute in Berlin and was henceforth engaged at the Thalia Theater in Halle and at the Berlin Tribune , as well as for years for “Klassik am Meer” on Usedom and for tours with the Landgraf concert directorate. In addition, she was seen in various television series , including SOKO Leipzig , Polizeiruf 110 or in the children's feature film Löwenzahn - The cinema adventure . Since 2009 she has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Berlin Criminal Theater , where she can be seen in various productions, including Die Mausefalle , Death on the Nile , Arsenic and lace bonnet , Fisch zu fiert , Der Zinker , Cocktail für eine Leiche and others. For Death on the Nile and Der Zinker , she also created the stage processing.

In addition to her work on the stage, she is also active as a dubbing artist, dialogue book author, translator and director.

Jany has twins with the drummer Titus Jany ( The Inchtabokatables ) and lives in Berlin.
