Clotilde Hesme (born July 30, 1979 in Troyes in the Aube department ) is a French theater and film actress .

Life

Clotilde Hesme is the sister of Annelise Hesme and Elodie Hesme , who are also actresses. After studying at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique , she played various roles. She became known through the French film director Jérôme Bonnell (* 1977), in whose film Le chignon d'Olga she took on a role in 2002. However, she only had her breakthrough in 2007 with the film Chanson der Liebe by Christophe Honoré . For this she received a nomination for a César as the best young actress in 2008. She won the award in 2012 for her portrayal in Alix Delaporte's Angèle and Tony (2010) - as a young woman with a past who found herself in a Norman fisherman (played by Grégory Gadebois ) in love.

In 2017, Hesme was selected as a jury member for the short film competition and the Cinéfondation series at the 70th Cannes International Film Festival .
