Naidra Ayadi (* in Saint-Ouen ) is a French actress .

Life

Ayadi was born in Saint-Ouen as the only daughter of Tunisian parents; she has two brothers. After completing her high school diploma, she studied at the University of Paris-Nanterre and attended a private drama school at the same time before completing her theater training at the Conservatory of Versailles . Her acting teachers included Claude Mathieu , Gloria Paris , Philippe Adrien and Mehdi Charef .

Ayadi was initially active as a theater actress and played in works by William Shakespeare ( Much Ado About Nothing , 2002), Anton Chekhov ( The Seagull , 2003) and Federico García Lorca ( Yerma , 2005). In 2007/2008 she appeared in Louis-Charles Sirjacq's Les riches reprennent confiance at the Théâtre de Poche Montparnasse. In addition to her work as an actress, she also worked as a director and directed theater at Ce que parler veut dire by Jean Tardieu (2003) and Horace by Pierre Corneille (2009), in which she also played the role of Camille.

Ayadi made her screen debut in 2002 in the short film Un choix difficile , her first feature film was Zim and Co. in 2005. Work for television followed. In Maïwenn's film Poliezei , Ayadi took on the role of policewoman Nora in 2011. For her performance, she was awarded a César for Best Young Actress in 2012, sharing the award with Clotilde Hesme .
