Frédéric Pierrot (born September 17, 1960 in Boulogne-Billancourt , France ) is a French actor .

biography

Frédéric Pierrot was studying mathematics in the USA when he discovered his interest in acting. He broke off his studies, returned to France and starred in several short films before making his screen debut in the 1989 war drama Life and Nothing Else, directed by Bertrand Tavernier , alongside Philippe Noiret and Sabine Azéma . Since then he has played various television and film roles, including in A Swallow Makes the Summer (2001), I Love You For Many Years (2008) and Sarah's Key (2010). For his performance in the drama Poliss he was at the presentation of the French film award César in 2012 as a Best Supporting Actor nomination.
