Edward Hogg

Edward Hogg (* 1979 in Doncaster , United Kingdom ) is a British actor .

Life

After studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London , Hogg played at the Royal National Theater and in off-Broadway productions, among others . He also plays in television series and feature films .

For his portrayal of Jesco White in the film drama White Lightnin ' , Hogg was nominated for Best Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards 2009 and was named Best Actor at the Mumbai Film Festival .

In 2010 he received the Chopard Trophy at the Cannes International Film Festival and was named a Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion at the Berlin International Film Festival .

When Seattle International Film Festival , he was recognized for his role of a blind educator for spatial orientation in the film Imagine in the category protagonist Best nominated.
