Luise Heyer

Luise Heyer (born March 25, 1985 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

Heyer grew up in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. During her school days she lived in Denmark for a year. In 2001 she appeared in the Danish-language musical Line 1 , directed by Sidsel Wagner Davidsen. From 2006 to 2010 she studied acting at the Rostock University of Music and Theater . In 2007 she played my children's game in Thomas Freyer's rampage at the Rostock Volkstheater . In 2010 she became a new ensemble member at the Schauspiel Dortmund , which she stayed for two years. In Dortmund she played the title role in Lessing's Miss Sara Sampson , A Witch and Malcolm in Macbeth , the Young Woman in Blood Wedding , Marie in Nora and Regine Engstrand in Ghosts . She was voted the best actress of the 2012 season at the Dortmund Theater. After this season she said goodbye and returned to Berlin. In 2013, however, she could be seen again as a guest actress in Dortmund.

In addition to her theater career, Heyer appeared in several short films.

In 2011 she played her first leading role in the feature film Westwind , that of the East German rower Isabel, whose twin sister fell in love with a West German during a stay in Hungary. In 2014 she played Sanna in Edward Berger's drama Jack , which ran in the competition at the 2014 Berlinale . In 2015 she starred in Rosa von Praunheim's film Hardness .

In 2019, Heyer received the rare honor of a double nomination at the presentation of the German Film Prize . She found consideration for both the main role of a rape victim in The Most Beautiful Couple and the supporting role of the depressed mother of the young Hape Kerkeling (played by Julius Weckauf ) in The Boy Needs Fresh Air . For this she received the German Film Award 2019 in the category Best Female Supporting Role . In the same year she was awarded the Bambi in the category "Actress National" for both roles .

Heyer lives in Berlin and has one child.
