Nevertheless, he sticks to his positive attitude towards life and fights instead of giving up. He seems to be right. Reviews

"A tremendous and touching test of talent that encourages the future of German film."

- Joachim Kurz : cinema time

"The remains of my life is a cinematic stroke of luck."

- Claudia Nitsche : teleschau

“Debutant Jens Wischnewski juggles with great issues such as love, loss and grief in an astonishingly confident and sensitive manner. He succeeds in a wonderfully warm-hearted film, which subjects his Hans im Glück to a tough job test with a clever sense of life and a fine sense of humor. "

- Norbert Raffelsiefen : Programmkino.de

"Wischnewski's remarkable film impresses with the outstanding performance of the ensemble around Christoph Letkowski and Luise Heyer."

- Thomas Lassonczyk : Munich Feuilleton

“In his feature film debut, Jens Wischnewski dares to ask existential questions with great feeling, lots of energy and even humor. The fact that he does not fail with this great claim is due on the one hand to his wonderful, absolutely convincing actors, Christoph Letkowski and Luise Heyer, but also to the seriousness and sincerity with which he faces the difficult topic. "

- Knut Elstermann : MDR culture
