Rudiger Vogler

Rüdiger Vogler (born May 14, 1942 in Warthausen near Biberach an der Riss ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

From 1963 to 1965 he attended the drama school in Heidelberg and was involved in the room theater during his training . Then Rüdiger Vogler played for six years at the Theater am Turm in Frankfurt am Main , often in plays by Peter Handke . Vogler was also on stage at the Théâtre des Amandiers near Paris and at the Salzburg Festival .

Vogler had his first film role in 1970 in the television production Chronicle of Current Events by Peter Handke. With Die Angst des Tormanns bei Elfmeter (1971) and Alice in den Stadt (1973) he started his cinema career, which was closely associated with the name of the director Wim Wenders for two decades . In 1975 he was awarded for his role in The Wrong Move the German Film Award in the overall ensemble. In 2009 he was nominated for the German Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for the part of Apotheker Gieshübler in Effi Briest .

In addition to other movies, Rüdiger Vogler has appeared in many television productions such as Tatort , Derrick and Der Alte . He can often be seen in foreign, especially French, productions.

Rüdiger Vogler lives in Paris and Mittelbuch near Biberach an der Riss . His in-laws were the artists Romane Holderried Kaesdorf and Julius Kaesdorf .
