action

The musician Katharina Schneider has just broken off her music studies. She can barely earn enough money with odd jobs such as choir director in a senior citizen's monastery or pianist in a band. Her father Hubert doesn't like her unsteady life at all. He constantly lets you feel how little he thinks of it. This leads to constant arguments between the two. That and her lack of perspective seriously scratch the young woman's self-confidence. When Hubert then also suffers a heart attack, she has to take over his highly indebted catering company. Katharina only has three weeks to improve her financial situation. In order to avoid the insolvency proceedings, the creditor bank puts the somewhat over-correct lawyer Ben Hallbauer at its side. But instead of helping her, he should pull the emergency brake and close the traditional business if necessary.

This in turn arouses Katharina's ambition, who, with a lot of improvisational talent and her friends, including her gay roommate Jochen, his friend Bruno and the secretary Christa as well as Ms. Wegener from the senior citizens' foundation, manages to land the first smaller jobs. So much entrepreneurship impresses Ben. He loosens up and the first feelings develop between him and Katharina. But it also hides a secret. He is in a relationship with the lawyer daughter Betty. Her father is a lawyer and defends of all things the worst competitor of Katharina's company. The caterer Sophie Linzer, an arrogant Schickeria diva, has only one wish to ruin Katharina.

Reviews

"Entertaining (TV) love affair and mix-up comedy based on common narrative patterns."

"With comedies [...] director Matthias Steurer has proven that he has a knack for fun entertainment. Here he took on a script by Elizabeth Blonzen and Anian Zollner. [...] Your template is indeed quite charming, has been told like this - young woman has to get her life under control - or similar, but has already been told several times. "
