Matthias Steurer
Matthias Steurer (* 1964 in Vienna ) is an Austrian film director and screenwriter .
Life
Matthias Steurer studied communication and theater studies at the University of Vienna from 1982 to 1985 as well as advertising and marketing at the Vienna University of Economics and Business . From 1984 to 1987 he worked as a producer, conceptionist and copywriter before studying directing and screenwriting at the University of Television and Film in Munich until 1994 . He made his feature film debut as a director in 2000 with the television film The Christmas Wolf . Since then he has worked as a film director for German television.
