Claudia-Sofie Jelinek (also cs jelinek ; born March 4, 1961 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Claudia-Sofie Jelinek trained as an actress at the Krauss drama school from 1979 to 1982. From 1980 to 1982 she was an apprentice at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Titus Feuerfuchs (director: Fritz Zecha) and in Zug der Schatten (director: Michael Kehlmann ) and at the Volkstheater in Tod (director: Hermann Schmied). From 1982 to 1984 she had an engagement at the Landestheater Linz , at the same time with Wolfgang Böck and Wolf Bachofner , with whom she played in Nestroy's Das Haus der Temperamente as Agnes (director: Kurt Ockermüller ).

In 1984 she moved to Germany, where she has mainly lived since then, with a secondary residence in Vienna. From 1984 to 1988 she had an engagement at the Heilbronn Theater , where she was the only actress to receive the Volksbühnenpreis for two years in a row.

From 1988 to 1992 she was engaged at the Essen Theater. In the German-language premiere of Cixous' Dora , she played the main and title role of a hysterical patient of Sigmund Freud. At the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf she portrayed the mother of the gods Here in Hansgünther Heyme's eight-hour performance of Homer's Iliad .

In the Austrian cinema production In 3 Days You're Dead from 2005, she was the Matura chairperson.

In the episode Eine Landpartie (2003) of the television series Unter Verdacht , which was awarded the German Television Prize , Jelinek put the corrupt senior public prosecutor Dr. Putz. In the two-part Lost Security (2017) she appeared as a divorce lawyer.

In 8 × 45 , a series on ORF, she played criminal inspector Pucharski.
