The film service described the film as "psychologically consistent". With “commentary images of nature and an excellent team of actors”, the film combines a “reflection on modern couple relationships and people's life lies with an ironic commentary on the cultural scene”. Cinema judged that Thome relied on a "low-action, sometimes stilted production". The “good, but under-challenged actors” succeed in creating a “state of the art of the cold 80s”.
