The new ones in Lisbon ( Portuguese original title: Lisboetas , German: Lisbonner) is a 2004 documentary by the Portuguese-French director Sérgio Tréfaut about the new immigrants in Lisbon .

The film introduces various immigrants trying to find a better life in Lisbon. Chinese, Black Africans, Russians, Ukrainians, Brazilians, Romanians etc. a. tell of their good and bad experiences, of their hopes and problems. The camera shows people in everyday scenes, at work and at the authorities, and lets the immigrants talk about their lives.

After Portugal had experienced new waves of emigration over generations and after the Carnation Revolution only experienced compatriots returning from the colonies, a new phenomenon arose for Portugal with the increasing level of development since the 1990s. Immigrants from different countries were looking for a better future in Portugal. The quiet, observational film met with great interest in Portugal and in 2004 became the most-viewed Portuguese documentary of all time.
The film critics also praised the film. The film critic Jorge Leitão Ramos wrote in the Expresso newspaper that the film sharpens the eye for one's neighbor and that one comes out of the film more humanly. At the Indie Lisboa Film Festival 2004 Lisboetas was awarded as the best Portuguese film, and won a. a. first prizes also in Uruguay and Brazil.
