action

The film is set at the turn of the year 1997/98, the year of the world exhibition Expo 98 in Lisbon. The Ukrainian doctor Maria lands at Faro Airport on a tourist visa . As the only passenger on her flight, she is being held by SEF immigration officials who believe she is a prostitute. The cool inspector only believes her story of wanting to spend a year with her husband, the Senegalese Grego, when he shows up at the airport.
