Katharina Pichler (* 1972 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Katharina Pichler received her acting training from 1990 to 1993 at the Krauss drama school in Vienna. She then worked for seven years at the Schauspielhaus Graz , followed by guest engagements at the Thalia Theater Hamburg , the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg and the Schauspielhaus Cologne . In New York City she could be seen at the Dixon Place Theater , at the Wiener Theater in der Josefstadt she was a member of the ensemble from 2006 to 2010.

From 2011 to 2019 she was a member of the ensemble at the Munich Residenztheater , where she was seen in productions by David Bösch , Martin Kušej , Frank Castorf and Tina Lanik and, for example, as Adele Natter in Das weite Land , as Franziska zu Reventlow in Geldkomplex , as Berta in Pünktchen and Anton , as Molly in Journey to the End of the Night , as Martha in Mensch Meier , as Theres in Wir sind Gefangene , as Zenta in hunting scenes from Lower Bavaria , as Irene Prantl in Faith, Love and Hope , as Melanija in Children of the Sun and when Kathrine Stockmann was on stage in Ein Volksfeind . In the 2019/20 season she moved together with artistic director Martin Kušej from the Munich Residenztheater to the Vienna Burgtheater .

In 2006 she was seen in the movie Persecuted , followed by episode roles in series such as Notruf Hafenkante , The Fat , Fast Investigated , The Rosenheim Cops and In All Friendship - The Young Doctors . Since 2018 she has played the role of pension landlady Beatriz Oliveira in the ARD television film series Der Lisbon Crime .
