Günter Knarr

Günter Knarr (* 1955 in Helmbrechts , Upper Franconia ) is a German screenwriter , director and producer . He lives in Berlin.

Life

After studying German and theater studies and an excursion into music, he has been writing screenplays since 1990. In 1990 he was a participant in the “4. Berlin script workshop ”. In 1991 he won the Marlboro Film Prize for the treatment "The nice murderers from next door". He has also been producing films since 2003, first for Rome Film, then for Crazy Film.

He is a member of the German Film Academy and the Association of German Screenwriters .
