The RSH Gold was a music prize for pop music awarded by Radio Schleswig-Holstein . It was awarded annually between 1988 and 2000.

The prize went to the most successful German-speaking or German- producing artists of the past calendar year. Successful evidence of chart placements was a prerequisite for inclusion in the award list . Producers or musicians also had to have brought about innovations or achieved something special with their contribution. The north parade, a hit parade of the RSH broadcaster, served as the basis for the jury, which was made up of music experts, journalists, dealers and the donor.

Award

The award ceremony always took place in public as part of a large event in Schleswig-Holstein . A total of up to 14 gold award winners were chosen in various categories. In addition to media attention, the prize consisted of PR fees, publication and presentation of the work, a certificate and a 12 kg emblem.

The award was also broadcast on RTL , ZDF and RTL 2 in the 1990s.
