Barbara Eligmann

Barbara Eligmann (born November 6, 1963 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German television presenter .

life and career

Eligmann stopped studying economics after three weeks.

She completed a traineeship at Bielefelder Westfalen-Blatt and then switched to the television station Sat.1 , where she initially worked as a regional reporter. From 1988 she presented the regional program Hamburg Schlag 6 on the private broadcaster RTLplus . She became known through the tabloid magazine Explosiv - Das Magazin , which she hosted on RTL from May 1992 to December 2000, as well as its offshoots Explosiv-Weekend and Explosiv - The hot iron . She resigned in 2000 because of her disease of Graves' disease .

From 2004 to 2009 she hosted the show Clever! Together with Wigald Boning on Sat.1 . - The show that creates knowledge . She also moderated the entertainment show Mega Clever on Sat.1 . Since 2012 she can be seen in the docu-soap Mieter in Not . She moderates the INSM Lexicon for the New Social Market Economy initiative .

Since February 2018 she has been moderating Abysses - Incredible Crimes on TLC Germany . Barbara Eligmann has been married to RTL editor Thomas Justus since 1996, and the couple have two sons and a daughter. The family lives in Cologne-Junkersdorf .
