Carol Campbell

Carol Campbell (born May 27, 1966 in Munich , Germany ) works as an actress and presenter . She is the daughter of a jazz musician from New York and a German make-up artist and casting agent. She studied acting, dance, singing and moderation in Berlin (where she lived from the age of five and went to school in Berlin-Charlottenburg ) and Los Angeles .

Life

She began her career at the dance theater of the Deutsche Oper Berlin in 1985 and moved to Paris in 1987 , where she performed as a solo dancer in the Lido until 1989 and from 1990 in the Moulin Rouge , Meneuse de Revue. In November 1999, Carol Campbell graced the front page of German Playboy magazine.

Her television work began as a presenter for a number of German television stations, Fernsehen aus Berlin ( window from Berlin ), VOX ( Avanti Magazin ), Premiere ( airplay live concerts, specials), VIVA ( chart show ), RTL II ( RSH Gold Award 1997 ) and ZDF ( Big-Bubbles Music Magazine). She was seen in many TV series in guest roles, for example in Father Against Will (together with Christian Quadflieg and Suzanne von Borsody ), Tatort or in Der Pfundskerl (with Ottfried Fischer ). She starred in TV movies like Julia - Fight For Your Dreams! or you or none .

Campbell also works - among others for Daimler Chrysler , Siemens , Adidas , Hugo Boss , IBM , debis , CeBIT , EWE - as a moderator at large events and as a coach in the field of media training.

She is a member of the German Film Academy .

In 2007 Campbell was trained as a creative producer for film / TV at the Institute for Drama, Film and TV Professions (iSFF) in Berlin.

Carol Campbell also works as a yoga teacher in Berlin.
