Ompundja , rarely also Ombundja ( Oshivambo for little ibex ), is a settlement and district seat of the constituency of the same name in the Oshana region in northern Namibia . The place is about 14 kilometers south of Oshakati , the capital of Oshana.

The entire constituency of Ompundja has 4423 inhabitants (as of 2001).
