Love is a Private Matter is a television series that was produced and broadcast by ProSieben from 1993 to 1994 . In 2001 tm3 broadcast two previously unpublished episodes.
action
After training as a hostess, Caroline Bachmayr, Simone Pelletier and Elke Engel set up a shared apartment on the property of Baron Carolus von Krippenreither, an impoverished nobleman of the old school. The baron considers it his duty to teach the ladies the good behavior required for their profession. During the 15 episodes (pilot film and episodes 1 to 14) you will come to foreign cities and meet interesting people. However, each time there are new challenges to be prepared for. A bowling club would like to take a trip into Munich's cultural history, an irritable pianist is looking for a friendly tour companion or an African delegation collects information about Bavarian cattle breeding. Although the ladies are always looking for the right man, they are not allowed to show private feelings during their assignments, because love remains a private matter! When Simone has a child and leaves the flat, her stepsister Anna Neumann takes over the flat share and job.
background
After Happy Journey Was Love Is Private Matters Pro Sieben's second self-produced series, but did not have the success of its predecessor. It should be fast and modern, but looked rather old-fashioned. The end came after the 12th episode, the already produced episodes 13 and 14 were initially not broadcast. This only happened in 2001 through the private broadcaster tm3.
