Hans-Jürgen Tögel

Hans-Jürgen Tögel (born August 8, 1941 in Neutitschein , Sudetenland ) is a German television director .

He directed episodes of the ZDF television series Siska , Der Alte , Schwarzwaldklinik and Das Traumschiff as well as film adaptations of Rosamunde Pilcher novels.

Occasionally he worked as a screenwriter and appeared in smaller roles in television films and series episodes.

In addition to his work as a television producer, he was involved in various aid projects in India from 1994 to 2004. In 2007 he founded the Tögel Foundation in order to secure the support of children in need in the future, for which he received the Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2013 .
