content
Eugen Köberle, single and living with his sister Gertrud, previously worked in the capital crimes department of the Stuttgart police. At the instigation of Chief Public Prosecutor Dr. Lenz he was transferred to the archive. There Köberle receives regular visits from Commissioner Herbig, who tells him about tricky cases she is currently working on. Köberle's criminal instinct is thus awakened and he goes on what he calls an "official excursion", investigates the cases and can solve them, which often brings him into dangerous situations.
Others
Since the interior shots were taken in Munich, the shooting was often done in the Munich police headquarters, not in Stuttgart. The first six episodes (directed by Hans-Jürgen Tögel) were created in 1982, the second (directed by Dominik Graf) in 1983. After broadcasting the first three episodes produced in 1982, all episodes filmed in 1983 were broadcast before the series with the last three episodes from 1982 completed.
Walter Schultheiß and Trudel Wulle, who can be seen as brother and sister, have been married to each other since 1950.
The series is available on DVD.
