Erika Wackernagel (born June 19, 1925 in Ulm , † June 30, 1995 in Mallorca ) was a German actress .

Life

After training to be an actor, Erika Wackernagel was employed at the Ulm municipal stage for ten years before she concentrated on a full-time job as a journalist . It was not until the mid-1970s that she started working again as an actress. Stage engagements led her to a. to the Württemberg State Theater in Stuttgart, to Esslingen, to the Freie Volksbühne Berlin and to the Hamburg Thalia Theater . She embodied numerous classical roles, including in plays by Gerhart Hauptmann in productions by Rudolf Noelte : "Frau Hassenreuther" in Die Ratten1976 at the Freie Volksbühne and "Frau Kramer" in Michael Kramer 1983 at the Thalia Theater.
