description

The first broadcast took place on December 24, 1977 with the episode Bierlisa . On April 4, 1978, three episodes were broadcast in the evening program. The individual episodes were moderated by the children who played the main roles. On April 9 of the same year the broadcast continued with further episodes of the first season.

It was directed by, among others, Draeger Thomas ; Barbara Schubert assisted . The authors of the series were Monica Bleibtreu , Rainer Boldt , Karlhans Frank , Bernhard Frey, Herbert Günther , Hans Peter Korff, Ingrid Kötter and Josef Rödl . The series was later released on DVD.

In 1980 the film Neues aus Uhlenbusch - I had a dream was made in and around Bornum am Elm . These are three series episodes that have been expanded to create a full-length film with a framework story. This movie was also released on DVD.

In fact, there are two places with the name Uhlenbusch: one in the town of Elsfleth in the Wesermarsch district in Lower Saxony and the other near Mölln in the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein.

The title song of the show comes from Graziano Mandozzi , it was very catchy, especially the chorus Auweia, auweia, the rooster doesn't lay eggs .
