Uwe Dallmeier

Uwe Dallmeier (born August 27, 1924 in Dithmarschen , † November 19, 1985 in Westerland on Sylt ) was a German stage and film actor who was mainly known for his roles on television. In northern Germany he was considered a popular actor .

Uwe Dallmeier first completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer before switching to the acting profession. In the 1960s he worked for the Hessischer Rundfunk as a speaker and actor for the programs Frankfurter Schlagerbörse and Die Firma Hesselbach . He also appeared frequently at the Ohnsorg Theater in Hamburg . From the mid-1960s, he became known nationwide through numerous television appearances. Uwe Dallmeier had several roles in the television series Das Traumschiff , Derrick , Der Alte and the television series Tatort (in the episode Wat Recht is, mutt Recht, an appearance as a commissioner remained from 1982). He gained wider popularity through his participation in the television series Kümo Henriette .

Dallmeier primarily embodied folk characters and "simple people" (bricklayers, craftsmen, caretakers, etc.) and often gave them a comedic note through lethargic traits. At the age of 61 he died of a heart attack and was buried in the cemetery in Keitum on Sylt .
