Blazon : “In silver, a red gate building with three tinned domed towers ; in the open gate with black lattice gate wings a leaping black roebuck , in the base of the shield three red roses with golden fruitclusterand green leaf tips. " | |
Foundation of the coat of arms: In 1974 the council of the newly formed administrative unit "City of Rehburg-Loccum" decided to try to create a coat of arms; symbols from the coat of arms of the town of Rehburg and the municipality of Loccum should be included in it. The red castle wall with the gate and the three towers as well as the roebuck represent the town of Rehburg. These symbols were incorporated into the new coat of arms in a slightly different form. The three red roses, the emblem of Count Hallermund , were taken from the Loccum coat of arms . |
