Frischli Milchwerke GmbH is a German food manufacturer . The three milk processing companies produce around 120 long-life and fresh dairy products in Germany .
history
The story goes back to the small dairy founded by Hermann Schäkel in August 1901 in Frille, East Westphalia . At the end of the 1960s, the family-related private dairies Schäkel, Holtorf and Winkelmann merged to form a joint company that is still owned by the founding families as a family company today .
Locations
The seat has been in Rehburg-Loccum in Lower Saxony since 1970 . In addition, since the takeover of the Huber dairy in 1996 there has been a production facility in Bavaria, frischli Milchwerke GmbH & Co. Huber oHG in Eggenfelden , one of the most modern coffee cream manufacturers in Europe. Frischli Eggenfelden is one of the largest producers of coffee cream portions in Europe and produces 2.5 billion cups a year, also in cooperation with the Hochwald Group . The location in Saxony-Anhalt, frischli Milchwerk Weißenfels GmbH , has existed since 1992. The dairy operation that has been based there since 1929 was rebuilt through the purchase of the Merseburg dairy combine and investments of 50 million D-Marks. As part of a sales cooperation, frischli has also been involved in the Wiesehoff cream dairy in the Münsterland region since 2017 and works closely with the fresh produce specialist.

Products
Well-known products are the cocoa " Nesquik ready-to-drink" , which has been marketed in cooperation with Nestlé since 1987, and the milk quark meal " Leckermäulchen ", which was also produced in the Weißenfels dairy from 1979 to 1989.
After the majority takeover and the conversion of the Weißenfels dairy in Saxony-Anhalt into a specialty quark business in 1992, frischli brought the GDR classic “sweet tooth” back onto the market in December 1995 after the reunification and was able to increase sales enormously.
In Rehburg-Loccum, milk drinks and cocoa, puddings and yoghurt as well as a large range of dairy products for gastronomy and catering are produced. One of Europe's largest production facilities for coffee cream portions is located at the Eggenfelden location.
