Nesquik

Nesquik is a brand of the Swiss company Nestlé and describes a range of chocolate products , including cocoa drinks in various flavors, milk ice cream , breakfast cereals and syrups .

According to the manufacturer, Nesquik was the first hot and cold soluble beverage powder in Germany to contain cocoa in 1959 . Its introduction two years earlier in Greece led to the invention of the café frappé .

A sugar-reduced variant with maltodextrin as a sugar substitute has existed since 1986 . There is also a calcium-rich variety of the product, which is sold under the name "Nesquik + Calci-N".

With Nesquik, Nestlé is the brand leader in the instant cocoa market; the brand achieved a level of awareness of 90% at peak times.

Since September 2010, Nesquik cocoa has also been available as a hot drink variant for the Nescafé Dolce Gusto .

The main competitor is Kaba from Mondelēz International .
