Coffee cream

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Coffee cream is put into a coffee.

Coffee cream , coffee cream or Austrian coffee tops ( rarely crème or cream ) is a milk product that is mainly used to whiten coffee or tea . It is unsweetened and must contain at least 10% fat. The usual fat levels are 10%, 12% and 15%. The various stages are achieved by mixing skimmed milk and the corresponding amount of sweet cream . It is pasteurized or ultra-high-temperature in order to have a longer shelf life.

Due to its lower fat content , coffee cream is perfectly suitable as a nutrition-conscious substitute for cream in sauces or dishes. However, unlike cream, it cannot be whipped until stiff. Lactose-free variants are also produced for people with milk sugar intolerance .
