The Samtgemeinde Niedernwöhren is a community association in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony with six member communities and its seat in Niedernwöhren.

Neighboring communities

In the west the town borders Petershagen of the Minden-Lübbecke at, in the north of the city Rehburg-Loccum ( Nienburg / Weser ) and northeast the joint community Sachsenhagen . In the east is the combined community of Lindhorst and to the southeast the district town of Stadthagen , in the south the combined community of Nienstädt and to the southwest the city of Bückeburg .

Joint community structure

The integrated community of Niedernwöhren was formed on March 1, 1974 as part of the regional reform. The Nordsehl community was divided. The southern municipality was incorporated into the city of Stadthagen as the district of Brandenburg .
