Pollhagen is a municipality in the municipality of Niedernwöhren in the Schaumburg district in Lower Saxony.
geography
The village is located on the Schaumburg Forest and the Mittelland Canal near Stadthagen . The Natenhöhe residential area also belongs to the municipality .
history
The place received its district through clearing in the 13th century and was first mentioned in 1410. The community developed as a sub-farming sub-village from the mother village of Meerbeck . Until 1898 the village belonged to the parish of Meerbeck, then its own church was built in Pollhagen.
religion
Pollhagen has been the seat of an Evangelical Lutheran parish within the Schaumburg-Lippische Landeskirche since 1896 . Before that it was parish in Meerbeck.
