In the integrated community of Nienstädt from the Schaumburg district of Lower Saxony , four communities have come together to handle their administrative business. Its administrative headquarters are in the centrally located municipality of Helpsen .

On September 11, 2011 a new joint council was elected:

As the successor to the retired Rolf Harmening (SPD), the former first joint councilor Ditmar Köritz ( SPD ) was elected on September 11, 2011 with 81.3% of the votes cast . Köritz was the only applicant.

Finances

In the budget charter for the financial year 2013, the ordinary income and expenses were set at ~ 5.9 million euros each in the budget of results. In the financial budget, incoming and outgoing payments of ~ 6.1 million euros each are expected. Payments for investment activities are planned to be 346,800 euros. For this purpose, credits of 190,000 euros are required.
