Karl-Heinz Gierke
Karl-Heinz Gierke (born May 27, 1938 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse ; † before July 14, 2020 in Strasbourg , Alsace ) was a German actor .
Life
Gierke completed an acting training at the "Herta Genzmer Acting School" in Wiesbaden . Several theater engagements followed; Among other things, he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspiel Köln for eight years . There Gierke interpreted a broad repertoire , which included pieces by William Shakespeare , the German authors of the Classical and Romantic periods , the theater of the turn of the century , but also pieces of the modern and contemporary theater.
In 1983 and in the years 1985–1987 Gierke appeared at the Bad Hersfeld Festival . In 1988 he played the Junker Bleichenwang in Shakespeare's comedy What you want at the Ettlingen Castle Festival . Gierke has worked several times in touring theater productions, including as Luka in Der Bär , as Tschubukow in Der Marriage Proposal (both 1994), as music director Schöller in the comedy Pension Schöller (1999-2000) and as Janzi in the operetta-like comedy Mich You should have seen by Helge Thoma and Werner Schneyder (2002–2003).
He was part of the comedy ensemble at the Bayerischer Hof for several years . From 2004 to 2017 he regularly played the role of Headmaster Knauer in the comedy Die Feuerzangenbowle .
From the 1970s, Gierke was also seen in several television roles. As his first film appearance, the film database IMDb has the television film Relapses from 1977, in which Gierke was seen in a supporting role under the direction of Peter Beauvais .
In 1986 he played a no longer very young husband in the ZDF television series Die Schwarzwaldklinik in the episode Das Findelkind , whose wife Olga ( Karin Baal ) lovingly takes care of an abandoned baby. In the ZDF soap opera Lots of Life he had a continuous leading role as the greengrocer Hansjörg Fuchs from 1995–1996. In 1990 he also had a series role as Mr. Hütthusen in the series Lindenstrasse ; there he played the unpleasant boss of the series main character Hans Beimer. In a crime scene episode on Saarländischer Rundfunk , he was police chief in 1996 as the superior of the investigating detective commissioner Max Palu ( Jochen Senf ).
Gierke, who was often used in concise supporting roles on television, also played in several television films . He embodied the mayor in the literary film adaptation Die Rättin (1997) and in 2001 the lawyer Professor Schmidt-Graeber in the documentary crime film Vera Brühne . In 2001 he played a pastor in the SAT1 film Great Love Against Will . In the television film In the Name of Rose from the Pfarrer Braun television series, he took on the role of the long-established winemaker Bartel Konz in 2009.
In 1984 he appeared in Stuttgart in the ARD television show One will win as an actor.
Gierke also worked as a speaker for radio plays . In 1984 he recorded the detective radio play Das Mädchen mit den Silberaugen by Dashiell Hammett on Westdeutscher Rundfunk .
Gierke last lived in Strasbourg in Alsace.
