Eva Christian (actress)
Eva Christian (born May 27, 1937 in Berlin , born Evelyne Gutmann ) is a German actress .
Life
Eva Christian grew up in Bucharest . After graduating from high school, she studied theater and film studies at the University of Bucharest . She also got her first engagement at the Bucharest Comedy Theater, and in 1957 she made her film debut in the Romanian production Eruption .
In 1962 she came to Germany and played at the Volksbühne Berlin in 1962/63 . In 1964/65 she worked at the Münchner Kammerspiele , where she appeared on stage at the world premiere of Fritz Kortner's Dialogue .
In 1966/67 she worked at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen and from 1968 to 1970 at the Staatliche Schauspielbühnen Berlin . There were also guest appearances and tours. She has appeared in a few feature films and numerous television series. In the 2007/2008 season she was engaged at the Munich Volkstheater , where she played the role of Hecate in Macbeth .
