Hagedorns Daughter is a thirteen-part German television series from 1994 on ZDF . For Anja Kling , who can be seen in the title role, it was her breakthrough as an actress.

Helke Hagedorn lived in Boston for the last few years . When she returned to her home town in Hamburg, she noticed the red numbers of her father Paul Hagedorn's company, who had still not come to terms with the death of his wife and was therefore left hanging. His daughter, who studied business administration , decides to stay with her father in Hamburg and wants to try to save the company by using all her might to counter the sale to competitor Butenschön.
