Aleksandras Antipovas

Aleksandras Antipovas (born March 9, 1955 in Bagdonys , Kupiškis Rajongemeinde ) is a former Lithuanian long-distance runner .

At the World Cross Country Championships in 1977 in Düsseldorf, he came in 20th place and won bronze with the Soviet team.

In 1978 he won silver at the Cross Country World Championships in Glasgow and bronze over 10,000 m at the European Athletics Championships in Prague .

The following year he won bronze in the individual and team rankings at the 1979 World Cross Country Championship in Limerick. Over 10,000 m he came second at the European Athletics Cup in Turin and third at the World Athletics Cup in Montreal .

In 1980 he was sixth at the World Cross Country Championship in Paris and was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Moscow over 10,000 m in the preliminary run.

At the 1982 World Cross Country Championships in Rome, he finished 19th and won bronze with the team.
