Ann-Marlene Henning

Ann-Marlene Henning (* 1964 in Viborg , Central Jutland ) is a Danish psychologist , sexologist , television presenter and author .

life and career

Ann-Marlene Henning began studying law at the University of Aarhus . In 1985 she moved to Hamburg to work as an accountant at the Danish Sydbank and to learn German . From 1986 she worked as a model . At the same time, she studied neuropsychology at the University of Hamburg for seven years from 1990 . In 1996 diagnosed (potentially life-threatening) brain aneurysms , she had surgery. In 2005 she began training as a sexologist and couple therapist for several years in Copenhagen . In her practice in Hamburg-Eppendorf she dedicates herself to couples therapy, single coaching and sexual counseling. In May 2012, her book Make Love was published . From November 2013 to 2017 she worked as a presenter for the TV documentary series Make Love . In 2019, she completed a three-year master's degree in sexology at the Merseburg University of Applied Sciences . Since October 2018 she has been an ambassador for the intaktiv eV association , which, according to its own statements, speaks out for "genital integrity".

Ann-Marlene Henning is divorced and has a son, James Niklas Henning, who was born in 1993. She lives with her partner, the US illustrator Louis Harrison, in Hamburg.
