The main roles were cast with Jan Josef Liefers , Ann-Kathrin Kramer and Ulrich Noethen . The private detectives Philip Casdorff and Caro Koslowski run a detective agency in the Westphalian capital Düsseldorf . While Casdorff is the easygoing macho guy , his partner is a life-affirming woman with a degree in psychology . At the side of the car-loving detectives is the calm-tempered Chief Inspector Martin Zobel, who is always kept busy by Casdorff and Koslowski.
