Éric Boyer (* 2. December 1963 in Choisy-le-Roi , Region Val-de-Marne ) is a former professional French road cyclists and team managers .

Career

At the 1986 Tour de France , he and his teammates from Système U won a stage in the team time trial on the second stage. In 1988 he finished in the Tour de France in 1988 as the best-placed French driver in 5th place in the overall standings. At the Giro d'Italia 1990 he was able to win two stages. A year later Boyer achieved a 1 stage win at the Giro d'Italia 1991 and reached 6th place in the final ranking.

From 2005 to June 2012 he was the manager of the Cofidis team. From 2008 to 2009 he was briefly President of the AIGCP .

Since 2018 he has been a consultant for the French radio station RMC as a member of the "Dream Team" for tour reporting.
