Martina Moser (born April 9, 1986 in Burgdorf ) is a Swiss football player . She played 129 caps for her country.
Career
societies
Moser began her career in 1996 at FC Biglen , switched to FC Rot-Schwarz Thun in 2001, where she was a regular player in National League B at the age of 15. With Rot-Schwarz she was promoted to National League A twice (2003, 2005) but also had to experience the descent in 2004. After being promoted in 2005, Moser then moved to SC LUwin.ch Luzern . In 2004 and 2006 she took second place on the list of goalscorers in the National League A. From the 2007/08 season, the offensive midfielder played at SC Freiburg in the first women's division . On May 21, 2010 it was announced that Moser had signed a two-year contract with VfL Wolfsburg . After her contract in Wolfsburg expired, she moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . There she helped the team from Kraichgau to rise to the Bundesliga with 13 goals in 21 games in their first season. After around five years in Hoffenheim, she announced her move to Switzerland to FC Zurich Women at the end of March 2017 .
National team
In the Swiss national team , Moser made his debut on August 20, 2005 in Poland (final score 0: 3). On October 23, 2012, she set the record of Marisa Brunner in the 3-0 defeat against Sweden with her 78th international match and beat him on March 6, 2013 in the 2-0 defeat against Canada , so that she is now sole Swiss record national player. On March 4, 2015, she made her 100th international match at the Algarve Cup 2015 when she came on as the second Swiss woman . In the same game, Caroline Abbé , who started as the first Swiss woman, made her 100th international match.
In 2015, Moser took part in the World Cup in Canada - the Swiss women’s first participation in a major football tournament. She was used in the four games and scored a goal in the 10-1 win against Ecuador. However, the Swiss team was eliminated with a 0-1 win against hosts Canada in the round of 16.
In March 2016, the Swiss women could not qualify in the qualifying tournament for the 2016 Olympic Games , but in June Switzerland was at least one of the best runners-up in the group and it was clear that Switzerland would take part in the finals for the first time, on June 7, 2016, before the last two games of the Group win.
In 2017 she took part in the European Championship finals in the Netherlands . Following the tournament, she announced her resignation from the national team. At that time, she was the record player for Switzerland with 129 appearances. On April 5, 2018, this record was set by Lara Dickenmann and exceeded on June 12, 2018.

Moser worked for several years as a commercial clerk at the Swiss Football Association until 2010.
